Is my money safe? How payments go straight to you
In plain words: how Access0x1 sends each payment straight to you without holding it, who can change the system, what we tested and what we have not had reviewed.

If someone else is going to move money for you, the first question is a fair one: is it safe? This post answers it without jargon. It covers where your money goes, who could change the system, what we have checked, and what we have not. Where we can, we point you to something you can look at yourself.
Where does the money go?
Straight to you. When a customer pays, the payment is taken from them and split in a single step: your share goes to you and our small fee goes to us. Nothing waits in an account of ours. We never hold your money, not even for a moment. That is what people mean when they say a service is non-custodial: it does not keep your funds, so it cannot lose them, freeze them or run off with them.
Compare that with a typical payment company, which collects the money first, holds it, and pays you out later. That model is convenient, but it means you are trusting the company to have your balance when you ask for it. Here the money never sits with us in the first place.
Can anyone check?
Yes. Every payment is written to a public record. Anyone can look up a payment and see how much was paid, how much was our fee and how much went to the business. Nothing about the money is hidden. Our public record page shows real payments on Base, read straight from the live system, with links to the network's public explorer so you do not have to take our word for it.
Who can change the system?
No single person. The system is controlled by a shared wallet, and any change has to be approved by 2 of 3 people. That protects you from one person making a mistake or acting badly. It also means the system can be updated when something needs fixing, which is a real benefit, and also a real power, so we want you to know it exists. The details are on our security page.
What protections are built in?
- Prices are checked. When a payment is priced in a currency other than the dollar, the price comes from a price source that must be fresh. A stale price is refused rather than used. We explain this more in get paid in euros, pounds, pesos and more.
- Refunds stay open. If we ever pause new payments, for example while fixing a problem, customers can still collect refunds that are owed to them.
- Each step is built so a payment either completes fully or does not happen at all. You will not end up with half a payment.
What have we tested, and what have we not?
We test the system ourselves, with thousands of automated checks, symbolic proofs and mutation testing, and our security page lists exactly what we run and the dated results. No software is free of bugs, and we do not claim ours is. If you find something wrong, write to hello@access0x1.com.
What risks remain?
No payment method is risk-free, so here are the ones that are left.
- The digital dollar itself. USDC is issued by a company called Circle, and its value depends on that company keeping its promise to back each coin with a dollar. It has held its value so far, but it is not a bank deposit.
- Your own wallet. If you lose access to the wallet that receives your money, we cannot get it back for you, because we never held it. Keep your recovery details somewhere safe.
- Mistakes by people. Sending a link with the wrong amount, or a customer paying the wrong business, are human errors that a fast payment cannot undo. Check before you send.
- Software. Any system can have bugs. That is why we publish our checks and keep the shared approval rule above.
A simple way to start small
You do not have to move your whole business at once. Start with one payment link for one kind of sale. Watch the first few payments arrive, look them up on the public record, and see how it feels. If you want a real person to explain anything, write to us on Telegram. You can also see whether everything is running right now on our status page, and read how a link works in get paid in digital dollars with one link.
